Having a new baby can be a lonely time. You may find yourself overwhelmed with the changes, expectations, and questions that new mommyhood can bring. As a new parent, it often helps to have someone to reach out to for answers, advice, and encouragement.

How can we help?

Are you a brand new parent looking for support?

Our goal is to match new mums with experienced mums to create supportive partnerships. Your Mummy Mentor will provide you with advice and encouragement to get you through both the wonderful and difficult days of becoming a parent. They are there to make sure you never feel alone.

Who are the Mummy Mentors?

The Mummy Mentors are volunteer women who have experience raising children. Some Mentors have new babies themselves, while others have fully grown children. We do our best to match Mentors and Mentees with similar interests. All Mentors are required to have a valid and recent Criminal Record Check, and undergo training when joining the program. Please direct any questions or concerns to our Contact Us page.

The mentors (experienced mums) are responsible for contacting their mentees (new mums) on a weekly basis and providing support in a variety of ways - answering questions, providing advice and encouragement, engaging in short playdates, attending events, or just having a chat about all things baby! The program will offer monthly events at which Mentors and Mentees are all welcome - and babies too.
